But it’s not just a guitar and bass rig replacer. It also includes Antares Auto-Tune and a collection of other vocal processors, to cater to singers from the studio to the stage. Powered by a cutting-edge multi-core processor, the HeadRush Core ensures gapless switching between presets, so you can instantly change up your sound without any interruption in your signal.
Expand your onboard amp and effects collection with HeadRush Core’s proprietary “smart cloning” technology, which lets you capture the sound and nuances of your favorite analog gear with uncanny accuracy. Add a virtually unlimited number of impulse responses to your arsenal, encompassing everything from amps and preamps to distortion, overdrive and fuzz pedals. And the cherry on top is the speed and simplicity with which you can clone your gear—an intuitive onscreen wizard guides you through each step.
HeadRush Core lets you save and load your own loops—and certainly doesn’t skimp. It’s capable of capturing loops of up to five minutes in length, with 20 minutes of audio per loop in total. You can also sync the looper to other devices like drum machines, sequencers and synths via MIDI. So, not only is HeadRush Core an all-in-one guitar and vocal rig, but it also holds the potential to be the central hub of your studio or live setup. It’s also great for honing your chops—load songs directly from Dropbox over Wi-Fi so you can learn or practice them with all-in-one convenience.
Need a preset in a pinch? HeadRush Core has you covered. Connect to HeadRush Cloud and seamlessly load—and share your own—clones and presets. Need to lay down some tracks? Use HeadRush Core as a USB audio interface and record to your Mac or PC without a hitch. You can also re-amp to your heart’s content.
An extensive array of inputs and outputs give you the freedom and flexibility to deliver in any performance situation. HeadRush’s back panel plays host to guitar, microphone, auxiliary, expression pedal and expression pedal toe switch inputs, headphone, stereo 1/4″ and XLR outs; external amp out, 5-pin MIDI I/O as well as USB-A and USB-B ports. Plus, FX send and returns let you run pedals and other external gear, and patch it in at any point in your signal flow.
