The SRX828SP utilizes JBL’s patented Differential Drive drivers with 3″ voice coils, producing very high power handling, low distortion and an extended low-frequency response down to 35Hz. With 2000-watts of power from Crown’s proprietary DriveCore amp technology, this sub reaches massive sound pressure levels with minimal noise and distortion.
A full suite of user-controllable DSP—driven by a powerful 400MHz Sharc processor—includes 20 parametric EQs, up to two seconds of delay, signal generators, input mixing and 50 user presets. The system incorporates JBL’s V5 tunings, providing compatibility with JBL’s Vertec and VTX line arrays. An integrated LCD screen enables fast, accurate setup even in low light.
