Premium components like TL072 op amps and high-quality diodes are carefully selected to achieve the signature sounds of the original pedal. From slightly driven cleans to a hard-clipped lead tone, the Centavo delivers an experience guitarists have coveted for decades.
The Centavo features just three controls: Gain to increase the amount of overdrive, Treble to adjust high-frequency content and Output to set the overall signal level. Keep the controls modest for a touch of breakup or crank them up for heavily saturated distortion. A MOD switch on the back panel expands low-end response to produce a throaty tone on lower strings. With a few tweaks of the controls, you can achieve the exact amount of overdrive your music demands.
The Centavo overdrive is housed in a custom silver enclosure, reminiscent of the earliest versions that helped define the pedal’s legendary status.
